So this is why…
A tail, some fur, a wet little nose…
Yes, I am one of those!
So a lot of people then ask me:
“Why? They`re dogs, and take up all your time!”
Of course they take time, what else can I say?
But I would not have had It no other way!
A look of expectation, from two trustful eyes,
who never could think of telling a lie.
The pounding of tiny little feet`s on the floor,
I`m welcomed by someone who loves me more!
Who always are there, just for me!
A better friend, no one else could be.
So yes, they need me almost twenty four-seven,
but they give back daily pieces of heaven!
So next time you ask, I am patient too here:
Do you have such a friend, who is always there?
